In January 2011 the Classic and Sports Car Club , relativley new club formed only in 2001 announced a Special Saloons revival meeting at Mallory Park in August. This with a view to running a series in 2012. The response was fantastic with over 40 potentially eligiable owners soon declaring an interest.
